No purchase is necessary to be a member of the Cat Country Rewards Program.
The minimum age requirement to participate is 18 years old.Certain Rewards prizes and promotional opportunities may require that you be older in order to win (over 21, for example).These items will be noted in the description.
You must live in Cat Country's direct listening area to participate and win prizes. Anyone living outside the direct listening area will have any accounts they may have open deleted.
New Cat Country Rewards participants will receive a one-time bonus of 600 points just for registering.
One Cat Country REWARDS account per person and one account per e-mail address!Anyone found to have multiple accounts will have ALL of their accounts deleted.
Bonus point keywords will be given on-air, at live broadcasts and station appearances and via other activities as part of the promotion.Different keywords will have different point values.Keywords must be entered into your Cat Country Rewards account within approximately 24 hours after the announcement of that keyword to receive the points associated with that keyword.Some keywords must be entered the same day.
Cat Country Rewards players are fully responsible for retrieving keywords at the appointed times and/or locations and entering keywords into their accounts, with no exceptions.Cat Country is not responsible for distractions, missed words, misunderstandings, acts of nature or events outside of our control which may cause a player to miss a keyword or not enter a keyword into their account by the keyword deadline.
Any person found to be cheating in any way will be terminated from the program WITHOUT NOTICE!
Guessing: Anyone found to be guessing keywords, or randomly entering words into the system, will be eliminated from play for that day.He/she will be permitted to play the following day.Any player found to be guessing a word prior to its public release will lose the points for that keyword.A second violation will result in the deletion of that player’s account.You have a certain number of guesses per day for this reason.
All points are calculated and monitored by Cat Country.The electronic point totals in our files are final.
Accumulated bonus points may be used to purchase prizes, raffle tickets or other items available on the Cat Country Rewards website.
Some prizes may be limited in quantity and will be placed up for ‘sale’ on a first-come, first-served basis.Other prizes may be limited to one per Rewards Member.In such a case, after a prize is “purchased” from the Rewards store, it will not show up as being available the next time a member visits the store.
Other prizes may be placed in an online auction.During an auction, merchandise is awarded based on a bidding system.The highest amount of points bid in a given time while an online auction is underway wins.Cat Country studio clocks will be the only time recognized for auction start and end times.Winning bidders will be notified via email.
Only the actual account holder may place a bid during an auction or redeem points in the Rewards Store (i.e., you may not have a friend or spouse make a bid or purchase from your account using your points).The same goes with winning contests and gaining points in all areas of the game.
When you place a bid on an item, a hold will be placed on you account for the amount of the bid.Those points will remain on hold and unavailable for other bids until you are either outbid or the auction is settled.If you bid leaves you with unused points, those points may be used for other bids in the next auction (example, you may bid on a CD and then a T-shirt in the following auction).If your bid is not the winning bid, the points of the non-winning bid will be fully available for use in the next auction.
Some auction items will be multiple items, meaning that there is more than one copy of that item to be bid on.Multiple item auctions will include language in their description to the effect of, “There are x copies of this item up for bid.The top x bidders will each win a copy” where x is the number of items available.Although there are multiple copies of the item available, all prizes are limited to one per bidder, meaning you may not place more than one bid, in the hopes of winning more than one copy.You may win ONE PRIZE per auction.
Cat Country may select a time to zero out all point balances via a "Rack-Out". Usually on or about March 1st and September 1st. At that time, all accounts will revert back to a base of 600 points, and a new program will begin.Cat Country will announce any changes on air and online.
Individuals accumulating $500 or more in Rewards prizes in a year are ineligible to win additional items until the following calendar year.The household limit is $1,000.Cat Country Rewards members accumulating $600 or more in merchandise and/or services in any calendar year will receive an IRS 1099 form at the end of the year for tax purposes.
Unless otherwise noted in the description of the item, all prizes must be picked up by the WINNER at Cat Country’s studios at 919 Ellegood Street in Salisbury, Maryland.NO EXCEPTIONS!Winners must present proper identification in order to take possession of your prize. Any items unclaimed after 30 days revert back to the Cat Country Rewards program.
Employees, agents, successors, assignees, advertising agencies, promotional companies, immediate family members, household members, sponsors, agents, affiliates, parent companies, vendors, suppliers of Cat Country, Delmarva Broadcasting Company and others acting on their behalf, shall be ineligible to participate/win.
Participants/winners waive any and all claims of liability against the contest sponsors for any damages, injuries or other losses which relate directly to the contest.Points spent in an auction are not refundable.Should an event be cancelled for which tickets are held by a winning bidder Cat Country may, at its sole discretion, substitute a prize, restore some points or restore all points ‘spent’ on the prize.
Prize winners are responsible for paying any an all state, local and federal taxes or license, title and transfer fees.Certain prizes may require the winner to provide their social security number and sign a standard station waiver before items will be released.
Participants’/winners’ names and their likenesses may be used by Cat Country for promotional purposes without further compensation to participants/winners.

Unfortunately, Cat Country cannot be responsible for a member’s inability to connect to the internet, login to the Rewards website, access to their account or participate in any activity associated with this program, service outages or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.
With certain restrictions, Cat Country can mail prizes upon request. Prizes must fit in a standard size legal envelope, cannot exceed $50 in value, and cannot be time sensitive. Cat Country is not responsible for prizes once mailed. We cannot replace any prize for any reason.
Cat Country reserves the right to modify these rules and contest specifications at any time without notice and without liability.Any decisions made by Cat Country concerning rules and/or rules violations will be final.
